Mana 23

Mana 23 is a day cruiser that changes the game. Some brands haven’t changed their shape from the early 80s. I’m not saying that is ugly or bad, but you can’t argue that is definitely outdated.

Rand has changed that with some of theirs early models like Rand 28,  https://randboats.com/boats/leisure-28/.

Mana 23 just confirmed that they are here to stay. Danish minimalistic design with strong but subtle lines, at first sight, you think that boat is something out of James bond movie.

No, it is just a simple great design.

If you don’t fall in love with the design then you have to respect the efficiency. If Mana 23 is not the stylish day cruiser on the market, you can’t argue that it is one of the top economical boats on the market right now.

Being a full electrical boat moves Mana 23 in a completely new category. Electric cars are now the new normal and in the boating industry, you can feel a slow shift to electricity.

Mana 23 design isn’t just for good looks, it also has performance benefits. Long hull design reduced hydrodynamic drag engineered to effortlessly pierce the wave

Helm station is positioned perfectly. Skipper is surrounded by guests from all sides, and that is great because he needs to be in the middle of everything that is happening on the boat.

Hiden outboard engine is one of the technically cleverest solutions on this model. It frees a lot of space rather than having it outside, functionality stays the same and the design looks better.

The top speed with this model is 12 knots not too slow, but not too fast for some is too slow and they ask questions about what is this boat useful for.

For once it is perfect for lakes and rivers because of laws of limited speeds, but what about sea use?

I can think of two perfect uses: short-distance excursions and tenders for yachts. I mean it would steal a bit of thunder from the yacht, but that is not a bad problem to have.

Rand has a Picnic model where the whole model is based around the cockpit table. Mana 23 has a big picnic table, but in Mana 23, it feels fancy like the only thing that can be served on that table is lobsters covered with caviar.

I really don’t need to sell this boat it sells itself, but if you want great looking day cruiser that runs on electricity look no further.
